The challenge
The Royal Moroccan Football Federation carries a badge that belongs to an entire country. When a national institution decides to sell directly to its supporters, the store cannot be an afterthought — it has to carry the same weight as the crest on the shirt. The brief was unambiguous: a commerce platform worthy of the institution, unmistakably Moroccan in character, and dependable enough to earn a fan's trust at the moment of payment.
Those fans are everywhere — at home and across the diaspora, on fast connections and unreliable ones, reading in more than one language and more than one direction. Every second of load time and every flicker of doubt at checkout costs a sale, and worse, erodes trust in the badge itself. The platform had to be fast, legible, and reassuring for all of them, from day one.
Our approach
Most projects treat identity and commerce as separate tracks. We ran them as one. The brand system — typography, color, tone of voice — was designed at the same rhythm as the storefront, so every component of the interface expresses the identity rather than merely wearing it. Nothing was skinned after the fact; the design system and the commerce architecture matured together.
Right-to-left reading was not a late adaptation but the starting point. The storefront was built RTL-first, which forces honest decisions about layout, iconography, and typography early, while they are still cheap to make. The content, in turn, was written to travel — product stories and interface copy that read just as naturally in each of the three languages.
Underneath, everything was measured against the numbers that matter: paint times, interaction latency, layout stability. We treated speed as a brand attribute — nothing signals the seriousness of a national institution like a page that responds instantly. Every template, image, and script was held to a performance budget and checked, without indulgence, against Core Web Vitals.
